Beyond Care
Beyond Care makes practical guides for daughters navigating a parent’s dementia, built by Kylie Goldman, MSW, a social worker with more than 12 years of clinical practice with families, who watched her own family navigate her grandmother’s dementia. Everything here exists because the system does not support you the way it should, and someone needed to build what was missing.
The daughter who became the one everyone calls. If your parent has dementia and the decisions have quietly become yours, whether or not anyone ever said so out loud, this is built for you. It is written for the deciding.
Kylie Goldman, MSW, is the founder of Beyond Care. She's a social worker with over a decade of experience working with families and caregivers, and a granddaughter who watched her family navigate caregiving for her grandmother through dementia. She built these because her family needed them and they did not exist.

The First Call is free and two pages, for once a diagnosis is in play: the eight questions to ask in the room, three things to bring, and what to write down before you leave. Get it here.
The Dementia Decision Roadmap is a $10 ebook for the decisions that follow: what has to happen first, what can wait, and how to know the difference. Get the Roadmap.
Not right now. Everything here is built around one thing: helping daughters make the decisions a parent’s dementia asks of them. If there is something you were looking for and did not find, email kylie@beyondcareco.com and tell me. It genuinely shapes what gets built next.
A PDF. Print it, or keep it on your phone so it's with you in the waiting room.
No. The guides give you words to say and questions to ask. They do not diagnose or treat anything, and it never tells you what to decide. Noticing is yours. Diagnosing is theirs.

Not at the moment. The guides and the Roadmap are where that thinking lives for now. If you are on the email list you will hear first when anything changes.
Beyond Care is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The guide is available to families everywhere.
